#31. 阿部修一郎 Abe Shuichiro《窓 / Windows》
[コンセプト concept]
本映像は、今年度の東京藝術大学卒業・修了作品展での上映に向けて編集中のドキュメンタリー映画《風が落とすもの》（仮）からの抜粋です。
2024年1月1日に発生した令和6年能登半島地震。そのあとに石川県珠洲市正院町にて撮影している、3軒の家の解体と生活風景の記録を、現在映画としてまとめています。
珠洲市では街全体で67％の住家が「半壊」以上の判定を受け、公費による解体の対象となりました。解体事業は、2025年11月を目処に完了予定で、街は常に工事音が響き渡る場となりました。また更地は日に日に増え、またその上にセイタカアワダチソウが咲き渡り、かつての風景は急速に失われています。
けれど「被災地」は同時に、住民にとっての日常生活の場でもあります。うつろう風景と繰り返される日々の時間の重なりを、修了制作映画では立ち上げたいと考えています。

This footage is an excerpt from the documentary What the Wind Leaves Behind (working title), currently in editing for this year’s Graduation and Completion Works Exhibitions.
It documents the demolition of three houses and the daily life of residents in Shoin, Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, following the Noto Peninsula Earthquake of January 1, 2024, and is currently being compiled into a full-length film.
In Suzu City, 67% of the houses in the town were assessed as “partially destroyed” or worse, making them eligible for public demolition. The demolition work is scheduled to be completed by November 2025, and the town has been constantly filled with the sounds of construction. Empty lots are increasing day by day, with tall goldenrod blooming in their place, while the former landscape is rapidly disappearing.
However, the “disaster area” is also a living space for its residents. In this graduation film, I aim to evoke the overlapping flow of everyday life and the ever-changing landscape.
